I have been really lucky and have some great support out here in Florida. My office and ward gave me baby showers and several ladies in the ward have given me baby stuff.
My office threw me a surprise baby shower! I was very surprised even though the week before my boss had told me to be sure to come in that day because they wanted to do cake and ice cream for me. But with my forgetful pregnancy mind when I got the memo about a mandatory meeting I didn't think anything of it. So they got me even though I knew. Everyone was really generous and my bosses pooled their money and got me a video baby monitor!
My church baby shower was a couple weeks later. I didn't get very many pictures but several ladies came and I got some cute stuff!
Thanks to all my Florida friends and friends from home for all your support and gifts!

I totally agree with Melinda, that is totally a reaction I would expect out of you. :)
I also really wish I could have been there too! Seriously, I looked into plane flights to Tampa a few weeks ago. If there was a super good price I would have hopped on a plane to visit you so fast! Too bad they were all more than I could justify paying. I love you, and I'm glad you have some great friends to throw you baby showers!

I'm so sad I missed it! I heard it was a lot of fun! That's so neat that your work all pitched in- my sister in law has a video baby monitor and they love it. :)
