After Andy's family left town we had a week break to pack up our apartment and rest up for my parents to come into town. The last time (click on the link for my blog about it) they had come to Florida was when I was pregnant to see Brayden be born. It was kind of a stressful trip for them because they were just so worried about me. This time around I wanted them to have fun and enjoy themselves, so I found a beach house on Indian Rocks Beach. We stayed there for about 4 days, just enjoying the beach and pool.
We were about 15 minutes south of Clearwater Beach so we headed up there one day for a dolphin boat tour. The boat was called the Little Toot, it was seriously awesome. The boat created a wake that the dolphins loved and would come swim in, so in our hour boat ride we saw 5 or 6 dolphins right up close swimming and jumping in the wake of the boat. The boat tour also pointed out famous peoples homes on the water in Clearwater so we saw Hulk Hogan's old house, the one that was in their reality tv show. They had to sell it when they got divorced, I think they listed it for something like 15 million and it sold for 7.

Just a pretty house on the bay in Clearwater

The sway of the boat put Brayden right to sleep

We rented a paddle board one morning and took turns taking it out.
Andy out on the board
my dad out on the board
Me out on the board. I stayed on my knees because it was a little choppy. After awhile I got the hang of it and stood up.
After relaxing on the beach we headed back to our apartment and my parents helped Andy and I pack and load everything into a u-haul trailer. They helped so much, we wouldn't have made it without them. Brayden and I flew with my parents to Washington and Andy and his dad drove the suburban and the trailer.
We loved living in Florida and thanks to our parents we were able to go out with a bang. We miss it tons but we decided that we will just have to go back for vacations there. We will go back next May for Andy's graduation! We are counting down the days already!
