We just got back from a fun 3 week vacation to Washington to visit family. It was so fun, sadly we didn't pack our camera so we don't have any pictures. We flew into Portland and spent some time with Melinda and her family. It was so nice to get out of the Florida heat and humidity, I was actually cold in Portland and it felt so good! We went to some parks and had fun playing in their back yard. Andy and I celebrated our 4 year wedding anniversary at Melinda's house and Andy's brother who lived in Portland for the summer and his wife Cassie came over for dinner. Benj made some amazing ribs and then we had a yummy chocolate cake from Costco. We loved seeing Melinda and Benj and their kids and miss them already!

We took the train from Portland into Pasco and that was an adventure, the train was 4 hours late, we didn't leave the train station until after 8 pm and got into Pasco after midnight. Thanks mom and dad for staying up late and picking us up in Pasco! Luckily Brayden slept the entire train ride so we didn't have to wrestle him to keep him on our laps. The train goes along the Columbia River on the Washington side and it was a pretty cool view from the 2nd level of the train. We went right by all the huge houses along the river. I probably wont be taking the train again though!

We spent our 2nd week of vacation in Kennewick visiting with my parents and helping Andy's family get ready for his little sisters wedding reception that was to be held in the Hagues back yard. Brayden was shy at first with all the new faces but he warmed up really fast and loved the attention. The wedding was a success, we had gorgeous weather and Elayna looked beautiful!

The 3rd week was spent at Lake Cocolalla! Andy's family has a house on the lake and it's always fun to go up there. The week was filled with boat riding, playing games with family and relaxing. Then we flew out of Spokane back to Tampa! We miss everyone and now I'm home sick!

In just the 3 weeks of our vacation Brayden changed so much! I feel like I brought home a new baby. He is now crawling, climbing, pulling himself up on furniture, has 4 teeth ( two on top and two on bottom) feeding himself, waving hello and bye bye, and his little personality and sense of humor is developing even more. Just this morning I asked him if I could have a kiss and he shook his head no and then started cracking up! I thought that maybe it was just a fluke, Brayden can't deny kisses from me so I asked him again "Brayden can I have a kiss kiss?" and he shook his head no again and started laughing! I have no idea where that came from, he has never shook his head before, I couldn't help but laugh, he keeps things light and happy around here and I love him for that! He is now 10 months old, and we just took him to the doctor for a well visit. He is 21 pounds and 29 inches long.
