World Traveler

Brayden is our little world traveler! He has been to Walt Disney World (Orlando), Miami, Bahamas, Salt Lake City, Kennewick, Yakima, and this past weekend we took a little trip to Saint Augustine. We met our friends Holly and Brad Dickman there. They just moved to South Carolina and it had been a really long time since we have seen them. They made the long trip down to FL and we drove up to meet them. Saint Augustine is the oldest city in the United States. There is a lot of history there and it is gorgeous. We had so much fun! We shared a room and our babies did surprisingly well! We both brought pack-n-plays and we put Eva in the bathroom and Brayden slept out by us. Brayden has been really good at sleeping through the night for the past several months but something changed and he has been waking up twice a night but for some reason he slept through the night in the hotel. Now that we are home he is back to waking up and crying until I give him a bottle... we are working on that.

But back to Saint Augustine we spent the mornings at the beach before it got too hot and then we went back to the hotel to swim and then put the babies down for their afternoon naps. Luckily our room had a porch so we were able to hang out on the porch while the babies slept. We had a lot to catch up on so we had fun talking and just hanging out. Our porch overlooked a harbor that had some amazing boats and yachts. One night while we were hanging out on the porch we heard a big splash and it happened to be a dolphin! It was pretty cool to see a wild dolphin so up close!

Eva and Brayden both did really well at the beach and we luckily had great weather! No storms and it was in the 80's. In the afternoon after the naps we walked around town and saw the sights. It's a really fun place and it was so fun to see Holly, Brad and Eva!
