Welcome to Miami, Bienvenidos a Miami

Ever since we moved to Florida we have wanted to go to Miami and then LeBron James moved to Miami to play for the Heat and we were even more excited to go to Miami and see a Heat basketball game. So we figured now was the perfect time to go with Andy being on break from school and we had a friend who wanted to come with us and that equaled a free place to stay for a night.

So we left 8:00 am Tuesday morning. It took us about 5 and a half hours to get there, because we stopped for an hour to feed Brayden and fill up with gas. When we got into town we immediately went to see the beach. We walked up and down Lincoln RD which is an outdoor mall and then we walked on the beach for bit. Then we drove to our friends dads house and got some dinner and then we went to the game. Our seats were pretty high up but we had a good view. Right when we got to the game it was time to feed Brayden so I sat in the bathroom trying to feed him. He did pretty well after that, we had put some putty stuff in his ears to try and block out some of the noise. I was sitting by a really nice lady from Montreal who was really calm and I think that helped a little. Brayden fell asleep for a while but then the game got really intense and people got very loud and he woke up. I didn't get to watch much of the game because Brayden was really fidgety. He didn't cry but he looked very scared/concerned. We probably will never do that again. Haha.

But it was fun to be in Miami! It was about 10 degrees warmer than it was in Tampa so it felt really hot! It was 80 degrees outside! Still so weird for us to be sweating outside in January!

We took Hailey to a BYU Men's Volleyball game when she was about the same age as Brayden. She didn't like all of the loud cheering either. She cried, so I had to take her out. Luckily I found a quieter spot on the side and was able to hold her and watch it from there.

That would have been a fun trip! 80 degrees sounds amazing right now. We're freezing in the 20's. :)

When we were engaged Mitch was selling in Miami and I went to visit him, it has really pretty beaches, and I'm pretty sure we went out to eat and shopping at that same mall!

That sounded like a fun but kinda rough trip. Ha Traveling with babies is so hard!

Nice - I saw LeBron and team play the Bucks in Milwaukee in December while I was there working. It was a fun game - but the weather was more like 10 degrees.
