Now that we know we are having a boy we can start shopping! But I don't know what to get! What kind of stroller? What kind of car seat? What kind of crib? Do we need a changing table? They look pretty handy.

I'm so excited for you guys! had NO idea you are pregnant! Congrats. I love Graco strollers, they're durable, not super expensive, they collapse and set up really easy etc. I have had one for almost 3 years and it's in great condition still and just bought another one that's a 2 seater that I love too. I love the car seat from Graco as well. I'd say start stocking up on diapers cuz I forgot how quick newborns go through them! We go through a box of 100 just about every week, crazy. When I was stroller shopping I went to babies r us and pushed them around, collapsed them, picked them up as if you're putting them in your car, play with the carseats and put one in the stroller etc. It was great for me because the one that I thought I wanted that I saw online ended up being one that I hated. So play around with them and make it a date night =)

Hey Julie, we went to Babies R Us just like she said and tried things out, then bought them wherever they were the cheapest. We also looked at Consumer Reports (our library had a link that let us look at it for free) to find out which ones were the safest.
