
I went to enrichment the other night put on by a nutritionist in our ward. She later e-mailed everyone some websites and books to check out. I really liked this book called Cook Yourself Thin. It has normal meals in it just with less calories. I have been looking at a lot of different "healthy" cook books and they all have foods that I have never heard of before and would have no idea where to find them and if I do find them at a health food store they are ridiculously expensive. So I like to keep it simple and familiar, that is why I liked this book. I guess it is also a TV show on lifetime.

The only thing I didn't like was they suggested an equation for how many calories you should eat a day. They suggested that you eat your goal weight times 10. I disagree with this, in some cases it works fine, in others it really does not work and can be harmful. Don't follow it, never eat below 1200 calories a day either. Anyway, I liked it and thought I would share!
