REX LEE RUN!!!!!

Andy had to work at the Rex Lee Run this past weekend, so I decided to run in it.  I convinced my friend Holly to do it with me and it was so fun!  I haven't ran in a 5 k since high school and I had forgotten how much fun they are.  There were about 1,000 runners in the 5 k race. There is something fun about running in such a huge crowd, your adrenaline gets pumpin and it is a lot more fun than just running by yourself.  Holly and I both had our iPods and had some good tunes to keep us going.  We couldn't have asked for better weather either, it was a gorgeous day.  Neither of us had really trained. . . at all, but it was still fun and we did better than we thought we would do!  We want to do another one now!

That sounds really fun! All the marathons here are on Sundays!

I am not sure that "run" and "fun" belong in the same sentence. "Difficult", "arduous" or maybe even "rewarding" but definately not "fun." Regardless way to go! BTW, cool blog, but that's what I would expect from you and Andy!

Go Julie! I think the Rex Lee run was the last 5K I did, like 10 years ago. Do they still just loop around campus? I remember it was a nice downhill finish.

it is a loop around campus still, we finished around the outdoor track at BYU but we did fun down the big hill on south campus, it was nice!
