Quarentined

So today at work, just minding my own buisness, a cop causally walks in and says, " There has been an incident on this floor, no one can leave the office." He abruptly turned around a left with no further explanation. Our managers were out to lunch so that left four of us. We all looked at each other and were like what? So next thing we know the cop is taping off all the exits. So we just keep working... and then our minds start to turn and think of all the crazy stuff that could have happened. At first I was like oh someone must have had some kind of fight or medical problem and they just need people to stay in their offices to have a clear hallway. Then I started thinking about the show 24 where a deadly disease was let loose in a hotel and they wouldn't let anyone leave. Then one of my friends on facebook told me to watch the preview for the new movie called Quarantined. Its about a television reporter and her cameraman who are trapped inside a building quarantined by the CDC after the outbreak of a mysterious virus which turns humans into bloodthirsty killers. I quickly shut our office door just in case some kind of crazy person was in the building. Later I got a call from one of my co-workers who works in the other building, she was worried about us because she tried to get in our building but there was a police officer at the entrance that would not let her in. She asked why and he said that there was a suspicious envelope with white powder in it. She was like are you guys okay? What is going on? I was like we are fine... nothing is going on. We couldn't see anything that was going on and they weren't telling us anything. So this lasted for about an hour and then the cop came back and said that we were free to come and go, like nothing at all had happened. So I guess it was just a scare, no deadly disease, no bloodthirsty killers and no anthrax. As much as everyone hates Icon I am surprised that hasn't happened in our office yet.
