Sad day...

The red car is the one I hit, blue one is mine

So I got in a car accident yesterday, my first car accident involving another car that was my fault. I got in a little one in high school where a girl backed into me, and I have ran into walls and such, but this is my first real car accident and it was scary. Heres what happened. I was leaving work to go to an interview of all places. I park along side a curb and started to pull out, I looked, saw a car coming, and stopped. I waited for that car and then here it gets a little foggy... Several things could have happened I just can't remember that well. 1. When I looked to see a car coming I didn't see one, because she was speeding. I didn't see her because there is a bend in the road and when I looked she hadn't passed the bend in the road. I think this is what happened because one of my co-workers saw it happen he said that he heard screeching tires and then a bang of us colliding, her car didn't stop for another 100 feet or so, at first I thought she was going to just drive off, though her brake lights where on. It was raining and the road was wet but not that wet. You would think that if she was going the speed limit, which is 35 I think, that she would have seen me crawling out of my spot and would have had enough time to brake and stop or swerve out of the way... nope she just kept right on going. 2. I looked but she was just in my blind spot or something. 3. I didn't look at all because my mind was preoccupied with my interview.
I guess it doesn't really matter now because the cop put me as the one to blame and I can't look back and change the past. It happened right outside of work so everyone heard it and ran out, which was pretty embarrassing but good because they took care of me by gathering the pieces that flew off my car, having the mind to take pictures and consoling me. Luckily my car is still drivable and our friend David Walker who rebuilds cars said that he could fix it pretty easily. We don't know if we will take him up on it or not but the offer is there. Both me and the girl I hit are okay and I guess it could have been worse.

Oh my gosh, that is way too sad. Are you ok? Gosh. I got in a car accident on the way to an interview once. I hit a guy on a motorcycle...my car still has the damage. I never made it to the interview, so never got the job. I wanted that job so badly too! Are you gonna be able to reschedule?

Julie! I can't believe you didn't tell me about this! Oh my goodness... that is crazy. I'm glad you are ok. That is a huge bummer. Definitely let me and Kyle know if you need a ride anywhere. How are you getting to work? You know... probably by the time you answer this I will have talked to you about it...

OH! I'm so sorry about your car! - and the whole thing.. ahh.
I still have a job with Icon guaranteed until around the very end of December or beg. of January. I guess that the project that I am working on needs me to be there longer. But I am still looking for a job for January. Was that interview at Pinnacle?
